Leadership Program

Leadership training at prepares the student to assist in teaching and eventually lead classes at Martial Way. It also helps the student develop a deeper understanding of his or her martial art.

Leadership program members meet one to two times per week to review and deepen their martial arts knowledge and learn the techniques and skills needed to be an effective martial arts leader. Theoretical training is supplemented by practical experience gained by first observing, then assisting and eventually leading classes.

To teach is to learn; students acquire a deeper level of martial arts knowledge and skill through teaching. In addition, they gain satisfaction from helping others progress.
