An easy and fun way for pre-schoolers to get involved
in a structured group activity and get an introduction to the martial
arts. Ages 4 and 5.
This small, active group emphasizes learning to follow
directions and developing motor skills in a supportive and playful
environment. The small class size gives young children the kind
of individual attention and care that they need as they learn to
interact in a group. Creative use of exercise and play equipment
builds balance and co-ordination. Students get their first exposure
to the principles of the Martial Arts philosophy such as giving
their best effort, and respectful interaction with peers and instructors.
Benefits
Students will learn how to function in a structured
group activity. Parents will notice improved balance, co-ordination
and overall physical development in their child, as well as better
listening skills and concentration. Students will enjoy the action
and fun of the martial arts in a safe and age-appropriate format.
This class is also an excellent primer for the next program level.
