There have been so many changes since my last attempt at group communictation with our members. I should start with sincere thanks to all who assisted in the fly-by-night renovation of and relocation to our new Milton location. I will probably forget someone, but thanks to Chris, Toni and Katrina for your help with the move, Karen for long hours in the move and set-up, Eric for the same, and helping to engineer the mat and mural construction, Nancy for moving and painting help, Bob for endless hours of meticulous painting, Liane and Justin for the landscaping work, and Marcus, the man who helped me build up the school in the early years, who came back twenty years later when the deadline looked impossible, and put the entire project on his back and carried it to the finsh line in time for a June 1st opening. Thanks also to all of you members and parents who have followed us and remain loyal through the move and the dog days of summer. The new building is nice, but YOU are the school.

This summer's weekend camp was awesome. Even in a time of layoffs, downsizing, and media gloom and doom, twenty-one people signed up for the event. More surprising to me were the spirit, enthusiam, and skills I saw on display. Not only did the Black Belt testers exceed expectations, and the Brown test was excellent, but nearly everyone showed up for a voluntary pre-breakfast workout on Saturday morning. Congratulations to all who participated!

Kids' camps continue to be fun, demanding, and extremely rewarding to instructors and kids alike. We work hard at camp, but everyone sees and feels then benefits: kids learn their requirements well and feel increased motivation as a result. Instructors appreciate the opportunity to teach more in-depth than they can in a 45-minute class. Many parents appreciate seeing their kids go immediately to sleep at bedtime (the instructors often don't make it that far).

Enjoy the summer, and keep on training!
